WHEN should I see my academic advisor?
  • Suring the first week of classes, for schedule consultations and to drop/add courses
  • At early warnings (5th week) or at any time you experience academic difficulty
  • At registration for academic advise, between the 10th and 12th weeks
  • During the end of the semester, to evaluate your work
  • Anytime you have questions or problems concerning your academic program or performance
WHY should I see my academic advisor?
  • To assist in making academic and career choices, or to receive more information about a major
  • To inform you of degree requirements
  • To assist you in developing strategies to improve your academic performance
  • To explain and refer you to campus resources
