Winthrop University - $5,825 grant from the Small Grants School-Based Research Program at NCSU. The grant was co-written by Martha Rhyne-Winkler.

Managed and coordinated $15,000 award from Susquehanna University for the Distinguished Minority Guest Lecture Series.  1989 - 1990.

Received $12,000+ grant for the training of Susquehanna faculty and Selinsgrove Area Middle School Staff for Drug Prevention Programs from the Northeast Regional Center for Drug-Free Schools.  Fall, 1988.

Received funding for summer research on Old Order Amish and Mennonite Education from Susquehanna University. 1987.
