MISSION

The Department of Business provides undergraduate students with a solid foundation in modern business disciplines (and their accompanying applications) within a liberal arts context.  A challenging academic environment in the Department facilitates the acquisition of knowledge, experience in application of theory, and ethical decision-making skills necessary for success in graduate and professional education, and leadership positions in the global business community, government and nonprofit organizations.  This environment also provides a strong foundation for lifelong development of analytic, communication and leadership skills.  Our mission is fostered and guided by a faculty committed to sound pedagogical practice, rigorous intellectual inquiry, and multi-faceted service to the College and wider community.
