You Have Seen the Rest... Now Come See
the Best!
The Elizabethtown College Summer Study Abroad Programme
provides you with the opportunity to earn three Elizabethtown College
credits while participating in an intense academic and cultural experience
living and studying in one of the 17th Century Colleges of Oxford University
in England.
During the three-week stay, class meetings are held
in a seminar format on Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m. with a 15 minute tea break. This compressed format allows you a
maximum amount of free time an travel opportunities during the program.
In past years, E-town students have taken day trips to London, Stonehenge,
Bath, Stratford-Upon-Avon, as well as weekend trips to Edinburgh, Paris,
Dublin, and Brussels.
This Summer Study Abroad Program is multidisciplinary
and features a once a week evening guest lecture series given by guest
speakers on British literature, politics, music, and art. Receptions
are held after each guest lecture.
