Linear Acoustic (http://www.linearacoustic.com/) designs and develops digital audio processing equipment for the television broadcasting industry.

The three year-old company, located in Lancaster, PA, is looking for an entry-level accountant. The position requires a BS in accounting. The successful candidate will have a willingness to work in a startup environment and grow with the company.

The company is positioned to provide products that simplify the incorporation and operation of digital sound technology by combining several signal processing and distribution tasks within novel new designs. These new designs correct technical problems currently faced by the broadcast industry (e.g. misalignment of the audio and video signal – lips move and the voice follows a second later) and they also include innovative ideas that allow audio signal switching within compressed signal streams, a unique technique that eliminates the need for several other products, resulting in significant cost savings

The company has won seven major industry awards, including in 2006 the STAR award for superior Technology from the TV Technology and Television broadcast Top Innovation Award for their CrowdControl product.
