Justin explaining what the different pontoons that we could use for the eBoat would look like.

3-D Mastercam Model

Fixing a pontoon design on Solid Edge to send to the CNC machine.

CNC Machine

Trying to get the CNC machine set up so we can make more foam models of the pontoons.

Clever Solutions

Mike holding what the pontoon model stock. It was made out of foam boards glued together - Lightweight and waterproof.

We got it working!

After a little fussing we got everything running. Pictured is the CNC machine drilling a pontoon model.

Another one

This idea is actually working really well at this point. Each pontoon only takes about ten mins. and the results have near perfect dimensions.

Glue and Clamp

Doug putting the layers together!

Glue and Clamp

Next we simply clamped the layers of the model allowing the glue to set and prep for the sanding stage.

Sanded

We sanded down the rough models to a beautiful smooth finish.
