Library News & Events

  • From the Hess Archives: The Hess Archives is thrilled to welcome Legal Studies major and Honors student Kalen Tendo ’27 for a summer SCARP experience! In partnership with the Hess Archives, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging, and the Young Center, Tendo will help to explore and preserve the stories of Etown’s students and alumni of color. His research will include writing and sharing a timeline of events significant to the history of students of color; reflecting on challenges students of color faced on campus and in the community; designing interview questions and recording the oral histories of alumni of color who graduated before 1975; and outlining recommendations for the ongoing collection of archival materials from a more diverse representation of students and alumni. Look for Tendo’s work to complement and enhance the celebration of Etown’s 125th anniversary in the fall!
