Find articles
The library subscribes to a number of databases/periodical indexes which are relevant to business research. These databases can be accessed from the High Library webpage under Search and Find Articles. Use subject searches rather than keyword searches to find articles and citations to articles. Subject searches are more specific and yield better results.
Page down within search results in databases to get more full-text articles. Order articles not available full-text in databases by using ILLiad - Interlibrary Loan.
Access databases from outside of the Elizabethtown College campus network, by clicking on Database access from outside E-town network , supplying your network ID and password, and clicking on Search and Find Articles.

Lexis-Nexis Includes articles from newspapers, magazines, journals, news wires and media transcripts; industry information and company financial information; full-text articles
Business Source Elite – Covers business, management, economics, finance. Includes full-text for 1,130 business journals. Company profiles - Datamonitor reports
Regional Business News - Contains full-text coverage of regional business publications, including over 75 U.S. business journals, newspapers and news wires from both metropolitan and rural areas.
Newspaper Source - Provides selected full text for 23 U.S. and international newspapers. Also contains television & radio news transcripts, and selected full text from more than 200 regional (U.S.) newspapers.
STAT-USA - Produced by the U.S. Department of Commerce, this database, including both the National Trade Data Bank and the State of the Nation, includes current and historical economic and financial releases, international market research, country analyses and trade information.
International Financial Statistics On-line version of the publication of the same name produced by the International Monetary Fund.
CCH Tax Research Network Contains reports, cases, and decisions relating to federal and state taxes.
WDI Online World Development Indicators, published by the World Bank. Includes statistical series, development data.
Locate periodicals
Use the Locate E-Town Journals link on the library webpage to find journal titles that are in the library and in library databases. Type in the title of the journal to get full-text articles in library databases and to find the format (print, microfilm, microfiche) of titles held physically in the library.
The Wall Street Journal is available on microfilm. You can order copies of microfilm/microfiche articles online by using ILLiad Click on request an article and fill out the form. You will receive an email when the article is available on ILLiad for downloading. You can also make copies of microfilm/microfiche articles by using the fiche/film copiers located in the library.

To find books relating to business topics, search in the library catalog by subject. Use WorldCat to find books held by other libraries; request books on Interlibrary Loan by clicking on Request on Interlibrary Loan. Prefer books held by ACLCP (other local college) libraries since delivery time is quicker.
