LOCALS KEY ETOWN'S 10-4 WIN OVER DICKINSON; CASSELL HAS TWO HITS, PAUKOVITS WORKS SEVEN INNINGS FOR VICTORY

CARLISLE, Pa. --- For a pair of Blue Jay captains, it was a happy homecoming.

Nolan Cassell (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and fellow Carlisle native Keith Paukovits (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) worked seven innings for his second win of the season as Elizabethtown defeated Dickinson, 10-4, in non-league action on Tuesday.  With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 14-4.

Brad Karli, Tim Downing, Chris Romig and Shawn Price all banged out two hits apiece to help Etown win for the ninth time in its last 11 games.  Bill Fisher rapped out a double and triple for Dickinson, which fell to 6-6-2.

Leading 3-1, the Blue Jays used a seven-run fourth inning to break open a close game.  Downing keyed the rally with a two-run single while Price, Cassell and Romig all knocked in a run in the decisive frame.

Etown is currently ranked sixth in the Mid-Atlantic region.  The Blue Jays return to action on Thursday, April 1 at regionally-ranked Johns Hopkins University.  Game time is 3 p.m.  Etown defeated JHU, 8-2, earlier in the season.
