Etown Falls to Regional Power Johns Hopkins, 15-6

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Regional powerhouse Johns Hopkins out-slugged Elizabethtown in a 15-6 win at Etown's Ira R. Herr Field Sunday. Etown falls to 4-13 overall with the loss, while Johns Hopkins improves to 12-3 overall.

Leading Etown at the plate was senior designated hitter Chris Turtell (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst), who went two-for-four with a home run, a double, one run scored, and two runs driven in. Junior third baseman Mark Dixon (Havertown, PA/Delaware Country Christian) went two-for-four at the plate with a run scored as well.

Johns Hopkins' hitters went a combined 17-for-43 at the plate against four Blue Jay pitchers.

Etown returns to action Monday, March 25 against Delaware Valley in a 3:00 p.m. home game.
