Elizabethtown Defeats Northland (WI) 4-2 in Rain-Shortened Game in Florida

FT. PIERCE, Fla. --- Elizabethtown won its third game in a row and improved to 3-3-1 overall Wednesday with a rain-shortened 4-2 win over Northland College (WI) in Ft. Pierce, Fla. The Blue Jays are now 3-3-1 overall in 2005 and 3-1-1 in Florida.

Pitcher Tyler Hoffman (Phoenix, MD/Loyola Blakefield) earned the win in the five inning game. Adam Rebert (Gettysburg, PA/Gettysburg) hit a three-run double for Etown, and Jon Kalejta (Boyertown, PA/Boyertown) had two hits and two stolen bases.

Etown will face both NAIA member Cedarville University and NCAA Division II member Davis & Elkins University in its next games Thursday.
