Elizabethtown Finishes Second at Penn State Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College golf team finished second in a quad match hosted by Penn State Harrisburg at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon.

The Blue Jays shot 327 as a team, finishing behind the host Lions (314) and ahead of Philadelphia Biblical University (337) and Penn State Mont Alto (345).

First-year student Geoff Quinque (Green Lane, PA/Upper Perkiomen) was the top player for the Blue Jays with a score of 79, followed by junior Maurice Rapp (Bangor, PA/Bangor) at 79 and first-year student Stephen Powell (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) at 85.

Also playing for the Blue Jays were sophomores Kurt Amen (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) and John Krajsa (Allentown, PA/Emmaus) at 86, along with junior Eric Salansky (Union Dale, PA/Mountain View) at 89.

Nick Reed of Penn State Harrisburg had the low round of the day with a 76, followed by Quinque and teammate Geoff Morrison at 77.
