WEAVER, DAY LEAD FINAL-ROUND RALLY AS ETOWN PLACES SIXTH AT MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

SHAWNEE ON THE DELAWARE, Pa. --- Brendon Weaver fired a team-best, 27-hole score of 120 and Pat Day carded a 122 to help Elizabethtown place sixth at the two-day Middle Atlantic Conference championships on Sunday.

Day led the Blue Jays and finished the tournament in 18th place with a 54-hole score of 254 while Weaver placed 21st overall with a score of 257.  Chris Ehrhart added a day-two score of 127 as Etown rallied from an 11th-place standing after the championships' first day.

Jon Sears shot a 130 on Sunday while Skip Weber rounded out the squad with a 132.  Etown, which finished one stroke behind fifth-place King's and four strokes behind fourth-place Moravian, finished in a tie for sixth place in 1998.

Susquehanna's Joe Rossi won the individual MAC championship with a score of 237.
