ETOWN FINISHES TENTH AT YORK INVITATIONAL, BOWEN ASHWIN SHOOTS 75 TO PLACE SIXTH

YORK, Pa. --- Elizabethtown opened the 2000 season by placing tenth out of 15 teams at the York College Invitational at the Out Door Country Club Monday.

Leading the way for the Blue Jays was freshman Chris Bowen-Ashwin (Medford, NJ), who shot 75 on the day, placing him sixth individually in a field of 73 golfers. Sophomore Mike Poysden (Collegeville, PA/Perkiomen Valley) was Etown's second lowest scorer with 85 points.

Etown returns to action Thursday, March 23 at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club. Tee time is 1:00 p.m.
