Etown Places Second at Franklin & Marshall Men's Golf Tournament II; Bobby Stiffler Medals

YORK, Pa. --- Elizabethtown placed second out of four teams at the Franklin & Marshall Men's Golf Tournament II, held at Heritage Hills in York Sunday. The Blue Jays score of 340 topped F&M, which scored 344, and York, which scored 351. Dickinson won the tournament with a score of 337.

Bobby Stiffler (Glen Rock, PA/Dallastown) was the medalist for the day with a match-low score of 80. Josh Hall (Dover, PA/Dover) posted a score of 84 for Etown, and Bob Pyrz (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) shot a round of 85.

Elizabethtown will return to action at the Commonwealth Conference Championship tournament Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1. Due to problems at the original host course of Shawnee-on-Delaware, the conference championship has been moved to Hershey Golf Club.
