SWARTHMORE SHUTS DOWN ETOWN ATTACK IN 4-0 WIN

SWARTHMORE, Pa. --- Holly Baker scored two goals, including the game winner, and added an assist as Swarthmore defeated Elizabethtown, 4-0, in regional action on Wednesday.  With the loss, the Blue Jays fell to 1-2 on the season.

Beth Purcell managed the only shot on goal for Etown, which was outshot 17-1 on the game by the three-time defending Centennial Conference champions.  The loss kept the Blue Jays two wins away from the program's 400th all-time victory.

Etown returns to action on Saturday, September 12 at Juniata College in the MAC Commonwealth League opener for both teams.  Game time is noon.
