TWO LATE GOALS GIVE ETOWN 3-2 WIN OVER VILLA JULIEELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Denise Heller scored twice in the final seven minutes to lift Elizabethtown past Villa Julie on Monday. With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 4-5 on the season.With her team trailing 2-1, Heller found the cage with 6:26 left to knot the game at two. Just over four minutes later, Heller tallied her team-high eighth goal of the season to give the Jays a come-from-behind win. Beth Purcell assisted on both second half goals. Heller also set up a first half goal by Mandi Ewing to stake Etown to a 1-0 lead. Heller leads the team with eight goals and 19 points. Kate VanValkenburgh made five saves to earn the win. The Blue Jays outshot Villa Julie 24-8 for the game and held a 21-5 advantage in penalty corners. Etown returns to action on Thursday, October
1 at Lebanon Valley College. Game time is 4 p.m.
