MEUSEL, HELLER SCORE TWO GOALS APIECE AS ETOWN DEFEATS GOUCHER, 5-1
BALTIMORE, Md. --- Tiffany Meusel and Denise Heller each scored twice to lead Elizabethtown past Goucher, 5-1, on Saturday. With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 5-6 on the season.Mandi Ewing also scored for Etown, which won for the third time in four games. Kate VanValkenburgh made seven saves to improve her record to 4-3 on the season.
The goals by Heller were her team-best ninth and tenth of the '98 campaign. The senior captain leads the Jays with 23 points.
Etown returns to action on Tuesday, October
6 at home against Albright College. Game time is 4 p.m.
