ETOWN FALLS TO 0-2 IN MAC COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE AFTER 4-0 LOSS TO MESSIAH
GRANTHAM, Pa. --- Elizabethtown (2-2) was shut out and lost its second MAC Commonwealth Conference game Tuesday night to Messiah, 4-0.
The Blue Jays managed only three shots on goal while Messiah fired 26 at goaltender Kate VanValkenburgh (Malvern, PA/Great Valley), who made 14 saves. Defender Tara Torillo (Runnemede NJ/Triton) also made three defensive saves for the Blue Jays.
Elizabethtown returns to action Friday, September 17 on the
road against Randolph-Macon. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
