ETOWN STOMPS BRIDGEWATER, 6-2, HALTS LOSING STREAK

BRIDGEWATER, Va. --- The Blue Jays brought their three game skid to an end Saturday by blasting Bridgewater, 6-2, to conclude their two-day Virginia road trip.

Elizabethtown (3-3) set the tone of the game in the very first minute when Beth Purcell (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) scored 35 seconds after play began.  Tiffany Meusel (Baltimore, MD/Parkville) followed four minutes later with the first of her two goals. 

Liz White (Elizabethtown, PA/Mt. Calvary), Emily Pitzer (Biglerville, PA/Biglerville) and Mandi Ewing (McClure, PA/West Snyder) also scored in the ensuing onslaught, as the Blue Jays outshot Bridgewater 35-5. 

Elizabethtown returns to action at home against Franklin and Marshall Tuesday, September 21 at 4:00 p.m.
