BLUE JAYS FALL TO SCRANTON, 1-0
SCRANTON, Pa. --- Goaltender Kate VanValkenburgh (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) made ten saves while giving up only one goal, but Etown could not get anything going offensively as the Blue Jays lost to Scranton, 1-0, on the road Saturday.
Elizabethtown (4-4) managed just five shots compared to Scranton's 18, and had four penalty corners versus 11 for Scranton.
The Blue Jays return to action at home Tuesaday against Lebanon Valley. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
