BLUE JAYS FALL IN CLOSE GAME TO VILLA JULIE, 3-2
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Despite jumping out to a 1-0 lead on an early goal by Mandi Ewing (McClure, PA/West Snyder), the Blue Jays could not hold their lead, giving up three consecutive goals to Villa Julie before scoring one more with 3:51 left to play. Villa Julie successfully prevented Elizabethtown from scoring a third point and won the game, 3-2.
The Blue Jays' second goal was scored by Liz White (Elizabethtown, PA/Mt. Calvary Christian) and assisted by Stacy Peters (Millville, PA/Central Columbia). White also assisted Ewing's first-half goal.
Elizabethtown (5-6) returns to action on the road against Moravian Wednesday, October 6. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
