ETOWN BLANKS VILLA JULIE, 2-0, YVONNE KAUFFMAN NOW THREE WINS AWAY FROM 1,000

STEVENSON, Md. --- Elizabethtown captured a 2-0 shutout victory on the road against Villa Julie Monday to improve to 9-2 overall. Monday's win moves Etown head coach Yvonne Kauffman to within three wins of the 1,000th collegiate coaching victory of her career.

Kate Gwilliam (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) scored the gamewinner, and the first goal of her collegiate career in the first half to put the Blue Jays ahead 1-0. Brandy Espenshade (Grantville, PA/Lower Dauphin) scored for Etown in the second half.

Etown returns to action on at home against Commonwealth Conference rival Moravian Wednesday, October 4. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
