Etown falls to Juniata, 2-1, in Double Overtime

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Despite outshooting Commonwealth Conference rival Juniata 43-8, the Blue Jays lost a 2-1 double overtime game to the Eagles Thursday to fall to 4-5 overall and 1-3 in the conference. Juniata improves to 1-7 overall and 1-1 in the conference with the win.

Beth Purcell (Lancaster, PA/Penn Manor) scored Elizabethtown's only goal on an assist from Mindy Nace (Thompsontown, PA/East Juniata) with 16:03 left in the first half.

Elizabehtown returns to action at home against Goucher Saturday, September 29. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
