Elizabethtown Falls to Dickinson in Overtime, 2-1

CARLISLE, Pa. --- Despite taking the lead early in the second half, Elizabethtown dropped to 7-6 overall this year with a 2-1 overtime road loss to Dickinson Monday. The Red Devils, of the Centennial Conference, improve to 8-4 overall with the win.

The Blue Jays got on the scoreboard when Kelly Miller (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser) hit the back of the net off an assist from Heather Morgan (Wilmington, DE/St. Elizabeth) with 23:00 to go in the second half. It was her third goal of the season. Dickinson's Jenny Portillo scored with 12:06 remaining in regulation time to tie the game.

3:54 into overtime, Andrea Carlow scored the winning goal for Dickinson. The Red Devils outshot the Blue Jays 12-5 and had 10 penalty corners against five for Etown.

Elizabethtown returns to action on the road Thursday, October 11 against non-conference local rival York College. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
