McDaniel Hands Etown First Loss of 2002, 5-2

WESTMINSTER, Md. --- A pair of goals by Samantha Stever (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) and Lisa Zbyszinski (Lansdale, PA/Lansdale Catholic) were not enough for Elizabethtown to withstand McDaniel's attack in a 5-2 road loss to the Green Terror Saturday. The Blue Jays fell to 2-1 with the loss, while McDaniel, formerly known as Western Maryland, improved to 5-0.

McDaniel out-shot Etown 26-13 in the game, although each team had seven penalty corners.

Etown returns to action on the road Thursday, September 19 for its first Commonwealth Conference game of the season. The Blue Jays will take on Juniata at 4:00 p.m. in Huntingdon.
