7th-Ranked Susquehanna Defeats 16th-Ranked Elizabethtown, 4-0

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown, currently ranked 16th in the nation, dropped to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in the Commonwealth Conference with a 4-0 road loss to conference rival Susquehanna, which is currently ranked seventh in the country. Susquehanna improves to 13-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference. The Crusaders have also now won 13 games in a row since dropping their season opener.

Kim Fleager (Lititz, PA/Warwick) made two defensive saves, and Samantha Stever (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) and Traci Brenner (Conowingo, MD/Perryville) had one defensive save each for Elizabethtown as the Blue Jays were out-shot 28-4. Lisa Marquette (Lebanon, PA/Cedar Crest) made 10 saves in the Etown goal.

Susquehanna took a 1-0 lead in the first half, and added three more goals in the second half.

Etown will return to action on the road Saturday, October 26 against conference rival Lebanon Valley, which is currently ranked 12th in the nation, in a 12:00 p.m. game.
