Etown Trounces Washington & Jefferson, 6-0, Falls to Muhlenberg, 4-0, in Championship Game of Muhlenberg Tournament

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown advanced to the championship game of the Muhlenberg Tournament Saturday by defeating Washington & Jefferson 6-0 in the completion of a game that began Friday night but was suspended by lightning late in the first half, and then fell to Muhlenberg in the tournament championship game by a 4-0 score.

Unfortunately, complete results from the Washington & Jefferson game are currently unavailable. Etown had to play again in the tournament championship just over three hours after its first game was completed, and the host Mules out-shot the Blue Jays 14-6. Kristen Bruschi scored two goals and chipped in an assist for Muhlenberg.

Elizabethtown will return to action on the road Wednesday, September 3 against Dickinson in a 4:00 p.m. game.
