Etown Falls to Gettysburg, 2-1

GETTYSBURG, Pa. --- Gettysburg overcame a 1-0 deficit at halftime to defeat Elizabethtown 2-1 at Gettysburg Wednesday. Elizabethtown drops to 1-4 overall with the loss, while Gettysburg improves to 1-1.

Kelly Miller (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser) scored an unassisted goal at 26:17 to give the Blue Jays a 1-0 lead. However, Gettysburg's Meg Goddu struck twice in the second half at 46:46 and 54:34 to give the Bullets the victory.

Etown out-shot Gettysburg 13-10, and the Blue Jays held a 9-5 advantage in penalty corners.

Etown will return to action on the road Saturday, September 13 against Delaware Valley in a non-conference game.
