ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY Susquehanna Slips Past Etown 1-0 ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Despite holding a 13-5 advantage in penalty corners and a 9-6 edge in shots, Elizabethtown lost 1-0 to Susquehanna University at home Thursday in a Commonwealth Conference game. The Blue Jays drop to 1-8 overall and 0-2 in the conference with the loss, while Susquehanna improves to 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the Commonwealth with the victory. Abby Dunlap scored the game's only goal for Susquehanna 12:04 into the first half. From there, the visiting Crusaders staved off an increasingly strong Elizabethtown attack that totaled eight of its corners in the second half. Shannon Baker blocked all nine shots she faced in the Susquehanna goal to preserve the Crusaders' victory.
