ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE FIELD HOCKEY Elizabethtown Field Hockey Records 500th Win in Program With 2-0 Win over Kean ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College field hockey team won the 500th game in the 56-year history of the program with a 2-0 victory over Kean University in non-conference action at Wolf Field on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Brenna Noon (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing) scored in the first half while junior Andrea Miles (Phoenix, MD/Notre Dame Prep) added a second-half goal as the Blue Jays (6-3 overall) won their fourth consecutive match. Noon gave the Blue Jays a 1-0 lead with 19:05 left in the first half as she knocked home her fourth goal of the season, while Miles added her third goal of the year with 18:17 remaining in the second half as she put home a rebound, with assists going to sophomore Katy Boone (Reading, PA/Muhlenberg) and junior Megan Angstadt (Oley, PA/Oley Valley). The Cougars (4-3 overall) had their best scoring opportunity four minutes into the second half when Alli Green was awarded a penalty stroke, but her shot went wide to keep the Elizabethtown lead at 1-0. Sophomore Liz Hannegan (Lancaster, PA/McCaskey) made three saves to post her fourth shutout of the season for the Blue Jays, while Jenni Barry made seven stops for Kean.
