Etown defeats Penn State Behrend in Season Opener, 80-66, to Advance to Championship Game of Franklin and Marshall Tournament

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Elizabethtown began its 2000-01 season Friday with a first round victory over Penn State-Behrend, a team which finished 26-4 last season and made the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

With the win, Etown advances to the championship game of Franklin and Marshall's tipoff tournament Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
