Etown Routs Eastern, 81-53

ST. DAVID'S, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved to 3-1 overall in 2001-02 with an 81-53 road win over Eastern Tuesday night.

Jon English (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddon Township) led the Blue Jays with 19 points and nine rebounds. Bob Porambo (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) was Etown's only other double-digit scorer with 13 points and six rebounds.

Julian Bell led Eastern with 12 points.

Elizabethtown returns to action at home Thursday, November 29 against Johns Hopkins. Game time is 8:00 p.m. The start time was shifted back a half hour to accomodate a junior varsity game that was added for 6:00 p.m.
