Elizabethtown Downs Susquehanna 83-72

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved to 10-9 overall and 4-4 in the Commonwealth Conference with an 83-72 road win over Susquehanna University Wednesday night. Susquehanna dropped to 3-16 overall and 0-9 in the conference with the loss.

Etown held a 38-29 advantage in rebounding, and the Blue Jays shot 28-for-58 (48.3%) from the field and 8-for-15 (53.3%) from three-point range. The Blue Jays cruised to a 43-29 halftime lead over the Crusaders.

Kyle Conrad (Shillington, PA/Governor Mifflin) led Etown in scoring with 21 points, shooting 7-for-8 from the field, 4-for-5 from three-point range, and 3-for-3 from the free throw line. He also pulled down five rebounds and made three steals. Dan Keane (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin East) led Etown in rebounds with nine, and he shot 5-for-5 from the free throw line and 5-for-11 from the field to total 15 points. Jon Connor (Hershey, PA/Hershey) added 13 points for Etown, and Greg Adams (Lebanon, PA/Lebanon) led Etown in assists with eight and in steals with three.

Bubba Mills was Susquehanna's top scorer with to point and top rebounder with 13 boards. Mike Malko added 14 points for Susquehanna, and T.J. Parry scored 11 points.

Etown will return to action at home against Widener University in a 4:00 p.m. Commonwealth Conference game Saturday, February 5.
