ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE MEN'S BASKETBALL Elizabethtown Falls to King's, 70-61 ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College men's basketball team fell for the second time in a row Wednesday night, dropping a 70-61 non-conference game to King's College (Pa.) to drop to 4-3 overall in 2004-05. King's improves to 6-1 overall with the win. King's led for the duration of the game, with Etown pulling to within two points several times in the second half but unable to even the score or take the lead at any point. King's, which was up by as many as 16 points in the first half, carried a 39-34 lead into halftime. Kyle Conrad (Shillington, PA/Governor Mifflin) was Etown's leading scorer and only player with double digits in points on the night. He totaled 14 points on 4-for-8 shooting from the field, two three-pointers, and a 4-for-6 performance from the free throw line. Brian Schreiber (Mechanicsburg, PA/East Pennsboro) added nine points from off the bench on 4-for-7 shooting from the field for Etown. All but one Blue Jay player in the game scored at least two points. King's leading scorer was Brian Horgan (North Wales, PA/La Salle), who tallied 25 points and a game-high of eight rebounds. Vince Scalzo (Shickshinny, PA/Northwest Area) and Marty O'Hora (Hackettstown, NJ/Pope John XXIII) each added 11 points for King's, and Jim Welsh (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) scored 10 points.
