Elizabethtown Falls to Lebanon Valley 79-73 in Conference Game 

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Lebanon Valley College edged Elizabethtown College 79-73 in a Commonwealth Conference game at LVC Saturday. The loss drops Elizabethtown to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference, while Lebanon Valley improves to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the conference with the victory.

Michael Schatzmann (Paradise, PA/Pequea Valley) led Elizabethtown in scoring with 18 points, and he hit five out of seven three-point attempts. He also led the Blue Jays in steals with three. Kris Kieres (Barnesville, PA/Mahanoy Area) added 10 points for Etown, while Nick Kennedy (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing Area) scored 10 points from off the bench and hit six out of seven attempts from the free throw line. Bryce Rodgers (Waynesboro, PA/Waynesboro Area) led Elizabethtown in rebounds with seven while scoring eight points.

Jimmy Curran led Lebanon Valley in scoring with 28 points and in assists with seven. Kyle Enoch scored 11 points for LVC, and Peter Ruth added 10 points for the Flying Dutchmen.

Elizabethtown will return to action on the road Wednesday, December 6 at NCAA Division II Millersville University in a 7:30 p.m. game.
