Division II Millersville Defeats Elizabethtown 96-59 

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. --- NCAA Division II member Millersville University defeated Elizabethtown College 96-59 at Millersville Wednesday night as the Blue Jays dropped to 2-5 overall with the loss. Millersville won its seventh game in a row and improved to 7-1 overall.

Millersville out-rebounded Elizabethtown 39-24 and held a 14-9 advantage in steals. The host Marauders shot 38-for-66 (57.6%) from the field, while Elizabethtown went 23-for-50 (46%) from the field for the game.

Michael Schatzmann (Paradise, PA/Pequea Valley) led Elizabethtown in scoring with nine points and shot 2-for-3 from three-point range. Bryce Rodgers (Waynesboro, PA/Waynesboro Area) led Elizabethtown in rebounds with seven and scored four points.

Greg Testa (Lititz, PA/Lancaster Catholic) led the Marauders in scoring with 22 points, and he had five assists. Charlie Parker (Fawn Grove, PA/Kennard-Dale) scored 18 points, led Millersville in rebounds with seven, and had five assists.

Elizabethtown will return to action at home Saturday, December 9 against King’s College (Pa.) in a 7:00 p.m. game.
