WEBER SCORES CAREER-BEST 25 TO LEAD ETOWN OVER DELAWARE VALLEY, 72-71

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. --- Adam Weber (Stroudsburg, Pa./Pocono Mountain) scored a career-high 25 points, including the gamewinning three-pointer with 33 seconds remaining, to lift Elizabethtown over Delaware Valley, 72-71, in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Tuesday.  With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 2-1 on the season.

Ross Unruh (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) and A.J. Beamer (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) also paced the Etown attack with 11 points apiece while teammate Brian Schmoyer (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone) dished out nine assists.

Trailing 71-67 with 2:18 remaining after a 9-2 Delaware Valley run, Unruh sank a pair of free throws to cut the deficit to two with 2:10 to play.  Weber then sealed the deal by canning his third three-pointer of the game with 33 second remaining and deflecting an Aggie pass in the game's closing seconds.

Etown led 38-28 at halftime and by as many as 15 points in the second half before Delaware Valley closed the gap.  Jimmy Garrett led the Aggies (1-1) with 17 points.

The Blue Jays return to action on Saturday, November 28 at home against Eastern Mennonite University.  Game time is 3 p.m.
