BLUE JAYS DEFEAT MORAVIAN, 81-71, FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE CONFEENCE WIN

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- With an 81-71 home win over Moravian Tuesday, Elizabethtown improved to 6-7 overall and won its second consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth matchup. Etown is now 2-4 in the conference.

Leading the scoring for Elizabethtown was Chris Sattele (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) with 14 points. Mark Sweet (Sadsburyville, PA/Coatesville) had 13 points and led the team with 11 rebounds.

Moravian (5-8, 1-5 MAC Commonwealth) fired up 22 three-point attempts, but made only five of them, while Elizabethtown shot 48.1% from the field, and 56.0% in the first half. David Jordan (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Pleasant) scored 21 points for the Greyhounds.

Elizabethtown returns to action on the road against Franklin and Marshall Thursday. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
