ETOWN FALLS TO MONTCLAIR ST., 82-74, IN TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP

UPPER MONTCLAIR, N.J. --- Down by as many as 20 points in the second half, the Blue Jays managed to pull within eight by the end of the game in an 82-74 loss to Montclair State in the championship of the Montclair tournament.

Matt Nikoloff (Grove City, PA/Grove City) led the Blue Jays with 19 points, and Bob Porambo (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) had 16. Mark Sweet (Sadsburyville, PA/Coatesville) led the team in rebounds for the second day in a row, this time gathering nine.

Nikoloff and Porambo were both named to the All-Tournament team. Porambo scored twenty points, including a buzzer-beater jump shot to win the game, in Friday's 75-73 victory over Bridgewater.

Elizabethtown (1-1) will play its first home game of the season Tuesday, November 23 against Delaware Valley. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
