Etown Gets First Win in Program History with 22-2 Blowout of Misericordia

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College's men's lacrosse program got the first win in its history Wednesday, blasting Misericordia 22-2 to improve to 1-1 overall in 2002. Misericordia drops to 0-3 this season with the loss.

Etown exploded for nine goals in the second quarter and carried a 14-0 lead into halftime.

Sean Thomson (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) led Elizabethtown with nine goals, and Mike Dunn (Upper Darby, PA/Bonner) had four assists for the Blue Jays.

Elizabethtown returns to action in its first Middle Atlantic Conference contest at home against DeSales Sunday, March 17. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
