Etown Wins First MAC Game, Defeats DeSales 12-8

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- In just its first season, Elizabethtown is now 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the Middle Atlantic Conference following a 12-8 win over DeSales (2-2) at home Sunday.

Ryan Smetana (Conowingo, MD/John Carroll) and Justin McQuaid (Chester Heights, PA/Garnet Valley) led Elizabethtown in scoring with three goals each, and Sean Thomson (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) led the Blue Jays with six assists and eight ground balls.

Etown returns to action Wednesday, March 20 in its first road game ever. The Blue Jays will face Swarthmore at 3:30 p.m.
