Blue Jays Conclude 1st Season with 21-6 loss to Widener

CHESTER, Pa. --- Elizabethtown ended its inaugural season with a 21-6 road loss to Middle Atlantic Conference rival Widener Saturday. The Blue Jays wrapped up their first year with a 5-9 overall record and a solid 4-5 record in the MAC.

Matt Newell (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) led Elizabethtown with three goals, while fellow freshman Sean Thomson (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) had a goal and an assist for the Blue Jays. Widener out-shot Etown 39-24 in the game.
