ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE MEN'S LACROSSE MAC Rival Lycoming Defeats Elizabethtown 13-11 WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- Elizabethtown fell to 3-6 overall and 2-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference with a 13-11 road loss to Lycoming College in the make-up of a previously rained-out game Monday afternoon. Lycoming improved to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the conference with the win. Lycoming jumped out to a 4-0 lead through the end of the first quarter, and Etown was ultimately unable to completely overcome that deficit over the rest of the game. Frankie Puzzangara (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) and Justin Griffey (Aberdeen, MD/Aberdeen) were Etown's top goal scorers with three goals apiece, and Puzzangara had one assist as well. Chris McCrea (Broomall, PA/Marple Newtown) led Etown in ground balls with nine. Thomas Nairn and Dave Kirschner were Lycoming's top scorers with four goals each, and Chris McQuade had a team-high total of seven ground balls for the Warriors. Etown will return to action on the road Saturday, April 9 at MAC rival Scranton in a 4:00 p.m. game.
