Game notes: The Blue Jays posted their third 5-1 win in five days, getting goals from five different players to stop Wesley on Homecoming Saturday. Sophomore Brent Conover (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) headed a long serve from Jeremy Shartzer for his first collegiate goal - the eventual gamewinner - in the 25th minute. Wesley answered with a goal from John Donovan before the end of the half, but Etown tacked on three in the second half to put it out of reach... Senior Chris Helsel's goal extended his team-high point-scoring streak to eight games... Goal by freshman Sam Altdoerffer (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) was his first as a Blue Jay... Shartzer's two assists give him a team-high ten for the season... The Jays have won eight out of nine and next take on Susquehanna on Wednesday, October 8 at 4 p.m... Conover has a goal and two assists this year and a goal and six assists for his career... The Blue Jays are 8-4 overall, 3-0 in the MAC Commonwealth League.
