ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER

ETOWN STAYS ON A ROLL, BLANKS LEBANON VALLEY, 6-0

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Joe Franc scored two goals, including the gamewinner, as Elizabethtown blanked Lebanon Valley, 6-0, in MAC Commonwealth League action on Tuesday.  With the win, the Blue Jays won their fourth straight game and improved to 5-3 overall, 2-0 in the league.

Dave Christian also keyed the Etown effort with a goal and an assist while Mark Merrill and Dominic Marano each tallied their first collegiate goals in the win.

With the two-goal effort, Franc increased his team-high totals to seven goals and 15 points on the season.  The junior forward has found the net in five of the Jays' past six games.

Goalies Chris Helper and Nicklas Hostetter combined for their second consecutive shutout.  Eric Bruch made seven saves for Lebanon Valley (0-5-1, 0-1-1).

Etown returns to action on Saturday, September 26 at home against the University of Scranton.  Game time is 2:30 p.m.
