ETOWN RUNS WINNING STREAK TO FIVE GAMES WITH 4-0 BLANKING OF SCRANTON
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Scott Fisher scored his first two goals of the season to lead Elizabethtown to a 4-0 victory over Scranton in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday. With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 6-3 and defeated the Royals for the 16th time in their last 17 meetings.Bryan Hoy and Dominic Marano also found the net as Etown ran its winning streak to five games, including four shutouts. The Blue Jays are currently ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Doug Timm needed to make only one save to record his third shutout of the season.
Etown returns to action on Tuesday, September 29 at home against Albright College. Game time is 4 p.m.
