ETOWN BLASTS JUNIATA, 7-0

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown won in convincing fashion over Juniata Tuesday, 7-0.  It was the team's sixth shutout this season, and the Blue Jays even held Juniata shotless for the entire game.

Brent Conover (Gettysburg, PA/Gettysburg) began the Blue Jays' scoring blitz less than five minutes into the game.  A goal by Brian Hoy (Beaver Springs, PA/West Snyder) and a pair of goals less than two minutes apart from Joe Franc (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) made the score 4-0 by halftime.

Jason Rohrbach (Wayne, PA/Butler) began the second half's scoring, and Dominic Marano (New Hope, PA/Solebury School) scored the game's last two goals in the final ten minutes.

The Blue Jays (8-0-1) return to action at home against Drew Thursday, September 30.  Game time is 4:00 p.m.
