ETOWN DEFEATS JUNIATA, 4-0

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Wyeth Raws (Malvern, PA/West Chester East) scored a pair of goals in less than a minute for Elizabethtown as the Blue Jays defeated Juniata, 4-0, on the road in Commonwealth Conference play Saturday. Etown is now 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference, while Juniata falls to 2-7 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

The game was deadlocked at 0-0 for the first 23 minutes. Raws ended the draw with 21:38 remaining in the first half and added his second goal at 20:46. Andrew Otterson (Butler, PA/Butler) scored with 8:18 remaining in the half to put the Blue Jays up 3-0 at halftime.

Tim Oswald (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) added the final goal with 9:05 remaining in regulation time. Charlie Haines (Hamilton, NJ/Hun School of Princeton) had a pair of assists for Etown, which outshot Juniata 26-4.

Etown returns to action on the road against Muhlenberg Wednesday, October 4. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
