ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown took on the College of New Jersey, currently ranked third in the Metro Region and 24th in the nation for its Homecoming game Saturday. The Blue Jays, currently ranked third in the Mid-Atlantic Region and 18th in the nation, just barely got past the Lions in an intense 2-1 overtime victory.

The winning goal was scored by Etown's Wyeth Raws (Malvern, PA/West Chester East) in the game's 97th minute on an assist from J.T. Liss (Bayville, NJ/Central Regional).

The College of New Jersey (9-4 overall) scored the game's first goal at 40:50 when Joseph Schneck (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) hit the goal on a pass from Brian Lindsey (Atco, NJ/Edgewood). With the clock running down, the Blue Jays (9-1 overall) tied the game with only 17:36 remaining in regulation time when Bryan Hoy (Beaver Springs, PA/West Snyder) scored on a penalty kick.

Etown goaltender Matt Gwilliam (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) and New Jersey keeper Ryan Hayward (Danbury, CT/Danbury) each made four saves, although Etown outshot TCNJ 12-6.
